About the job
We’re looking for people who can read and write in Hindi, Bengali or Marathi to review and correct transcripts of short audio clips.
You’ll listen to audio recordings, check the transcripts for accuracy, and correct words, timestamps and tags wherever needed. You can use a phonetic keyboard to type in your language by entering words in English letters, which automatically convert into the appropriate script.
This is fully remote work with flexible hours. The pay is $16 per hour of audio reviewed, not per hour worked.
If you can comfortably read and write at least one of these languages, have a laptop or desktop, headphones and a stable internet connection, we’d love to hear from you. Previous transcription experience is helpful but not required.
Requirements
- - Comfortable reading and writing in Hindi, Bengali or Marathi.
- - Able to use or willing to learn a phonetic keyboard, such as Google Input Tools or Gboard.
- - Laptop or desktop, headphones and a stable internet connection.
- - Attention to detail when reviewing written transcripts.
